We are outward-looking and engage with wider networks and initiatives in our fields of interest. This helps us learn, find opportunities for collaboration, and identify ways of making an effective contribution.

We tend to invest in organisations rather than fund projects, and aim to fund regeneratively – to help them become more resilient and effective as a result of our support.

Often, our funding will be unrestricted – enabling the recipient to decide how it can best be used to further their mission or strengthen their organisation. If we fund a specific project or cost, it will have been identified through dialogue about their needs and priorities.

We also aim to add value to our funding relationships, over and above the financial value of our grants.
